Good evening from the Delves Police Neighbourhood Team.
It has been another set of busy shifts for the whole team and here are just some of the things we have been up to: · Cuppa with a Copper event NASHDOM community hub Palfrey · Cuppa with a Copper event Delves Baptist community church
Acquisitive crimes of note: Paddock Interference with motor vehicle – Gloucester road
Delves We have had criminal damage to several vehicles – Bescot Crescent Theft from motor vehicle – Dale street Theft from motor vehicle – Earl street Shed breaks – we have had three in Alexander road
Pleck Shed break - Gower street Shed break - Berkeley street Theft of Catalytic converter – Merton way We have had several theft from motor vehicles in the Pleck area.
Positive action: Two vehicles have been seized by officers this week after checks showed driving offences were being committed. Drivers were reported for relevant offences. Officers arrested a suspect for 7 shop theft offences, and was subsequently charged and remanded for court. In regards to the shed breaks, a male has been arrested and will be interviewed regarding these offences. A number of stop and searches have been conducted across the area, resulting in drugs being seized.
